1996 Chevrolet Silverado 3500!
1996 Chevrolet Silverado 3500 Dually. High Output Vortec 454 Engine, NV-4500 HD 5 speed Transmission, 4 wheel Drive, 4:10 Gears, Offroad Skid Plates, Locking Diff, HD Cooling, and all the HD things that were offered are on this model, giving it a tow capacity in the 16K lb load range if a 5th wheel was on it. This was the most heavy duty 3500 of this generation and the ext cab was the heavy hauler over the crew cab. I also I dare say this is one of the finest examples of a 4th Gen 3500 as the world has to offer too. Miles are collector range.... Really LOW.. Extremely LOW. So low the ink marks are still on the exhaust. I am not showing the miles now as this truck is used to pull our show trailer locally to shows in nice weather only... But it wont get much more and this is probably the lowest mile Gen 4 3500 in the world. Consider it .99.5% as new new in every manner. This was bought new as a collector truck... so hard to find in a commercial truck!
Truck is 100% stock other than the obvious addition of the 19.5 size Wheels/Tires of the 3500HD/4500 and larger trucks. Not a cheap addition, and using the Goodyear G-670 Commercial tires that are on it now, put this little addition in the 5K price range. The tires will outlast the miles this truck will ever see in the next 500 years too.... The original 16s and and tires are stored as new... but certainly don't add much for looks where this truck is concerned. Really kind of a let down as with most OEM wheels. However if you notice, these 19.5s have all the OEM center caps in them! As stock of look as you will find with the upgrade... and 19.5s are a HUGE upgrade on these trucks in every manner including handling.
Truck also has a bed cover on it... No the snaps are not in the body... it is a cover that has clamp on rails... Bed has GM factory plastic liner in it... Never used.... Bug guard and window deflectors are GM Accessory parts too! Options are power windows/locks/seats, remote entry, Silverado seats with Console, Overhead console with Homelink, Factory CD, and everything available other than leather... and what a plus that is. Seats also have covers on them as of this moment.... that have never been off either. Its that new.

For those that want to know how to do this...... Here is what you need and only this way is it a direct bolt on, no lift, no rub, perfect.. I wish I had this info before I started;
4 American Eagle 19.5x6 0589 Wheels..... Bolt Pattern 8x6.5 for 2010 and older trucks.
2 Factory Accuride 19.5x6 8x6.5 Bolt Pattern with 4.56 Bore Centers... These come off of an older chevy step van or Grumman Van.
If you use the steel wheel dealers sell you, they will be too thick with the alloy paired up to it in the rear... You will have to change all your studs... Get the ones above!
Tires 225/70 19.5s..... These clear everything like stock and are only 1" difference vs oem. I do not think you can go to the 245s or 265s on this Gen truck.
I use Goodyear G-670 Tires. They are very expensive... If you want cheap, there are tons or Asian tires and Double Coin, etc... But you will suffer in handling.
Plate for show....
The HO Vortec 454... King engine in this Chassis.
