As you may notice from my links, I am a car guy of sorts. Not only am I a collector of vintage automobiles, I am a seasoned mechanic, and I know cars as well as the best of the best. I normally will not list a car like this as its not my specialty to run cars with the amount of miles this car has. However, I know this car, I know its history and know the very easy life it has had. In fact, if this car were black, white or blue, I would be buying it myself. The car is as good as you can expect for a car that has lived a comfortable garaged life in a rust free environment but has traveled 80K miles. To me 80K miles is a TON of mile in collector terms, but on these cars, they last, last and then they last. My wife has probably the best of the last year LS400s and I keep her in that as I never have to mess with it! Great car. This one I would say may even be a better car. Certainly more bells and whistles than the 1^st gen LS, but all in all, this is probably the best quality least grief highest end car ever made. You start saying Mercedes, BMW, Bentley, etc… BUT those will not do what these cars do. You can neglect these LS cars for 10 years and they will still go almost as new. Try that with the mentioned German and English, they won’t get you past the driveway and then when you go to work on them…. Hold on…... Now start talking Town Car or Grand Marquis, they may even have Lexus beat in reliability, but they certainly are not as high of quality car as Lexus. So this is really the highest end most reliable luxury sedan in the world. The new LS460s are nice, but they are not these either. With that said, you can’t go wrong with a well kept LS430, mine here or anyone’s that is nice really.
