1970 Chevrolet CST/10.  Optional 350/4BBL 300HP Invader Engine.  TH350/12 Bolt 3:08. AC, PS, PB, Gauges, 63K original miles. This is a local Dallas truck and about as nice of one of these as you will ever see.  Truck was owned by the owner of Doran Chevrolet for the majority of its life, of which it still retains all records and markings under the hood.  Truck has a very light but extreme quality restoration making it a true #1 condition but drivable show piece.  The efforts put into this truck were only done because it was such a perfect specimen and has survived time beyond what the best of the best of these type vehicles do.  Interior is original, dash pad is original, bumpers are original, grill is original, hub caps are flawless originals.  Bed is also original inside.  That should tell you how nice this truck was before it was brought up a notch. Ok, the glove compartment door was polished up a bit, but its still original too.  Steering wheel is a Chevelle wheel and was put on when the truck was new and left that way on purpose.  Under hood is mostly untouched but detailed.  The 350/4BBL high compression motor has had a light spruce up.  Carb + intake are not original but a big improvement to power and drivability.  All else is original. Original chalk marks as you see are just that... Original hand written by the builders of the truck... Not restorations..... Undercarriage is untouched and shown as its 63K very easy miles have made it.  No can-o-rebuild (spray paint) over it as so many claimed "original" vehicles have.  Its show car nice yet drivable.  Truck has dual exhaust and KYB shocks, of which are not original correct, but sure help over original.  Just to answer the question so many out of area people ask;  This is a Texas truck.  It has never left the area.  It was owned by a known car collector and dealer its early life and also its latter.  The subject of rust does not apply to a vehicle of this caliber.  Not a spec, not ever.  The AC system works perfect, is original and retains R12 Freon.  This truck has been in the exact condition you see in it for over a decade and cherished as a prized collector.  This is not some thrown together classic car dealer bomb that the paint is not even dry on.  "Just restored"  "Frame off", etc...  From my experience, you better run when you hear that...  It is the real deal, #1 condition original Texas Truck and treated as such and is used today as a sorted turn key show truck.  Paint is ISCA standards and is what you would expect on a mega dollar muscle car.  The quality of this truck is what some people have paid 150K+ with the "Chevelle"  name plastered on it from a much lesser original specimen.  This is just an old survivor pickup that has been brought up a notch. However work and quality are the same as the example.  Truck has won countless awards in its day.  The truck is what it is, one of the best examples of a 1970 pickup as you will ever see.
