One of the nicest example of one of the best year Fleetwood Broughams On Earth! Optioned pretty much as good as it could get. Yes its NOT leather either! This is the more expensive DeElegance cloth that was a higher cost option in 80 over leather. Now I am sure you already know by now, but the Astro Roof option is what makes this car what it is. A rare and desirable option that only a few cars had. It was Expensive new and as a collector it really about 2Xs the price today.

If you follow these cars, you know this body ran from 80-89 and then 90-92 in the "Euro" style. 80 is a highlight year as it retains the original Cadillac big block, which is the same engine family as the 500 and 425 from 1968. 80 also used the 4BBL carburetor, of which was MUCH more power than the over rated efi engine of the day. Run one side by side and see. The 80 has incredibly good power, extreme long engine life (500K+) and simplicity of maintenance compared to the later years. 80 Also uses the large TH400 Transmission and the big cadillac 12 bolt ring gear differential. This driveline is what is called the "Commercial" cadillac drivline for 80-85 in limos only. It lasted! 81 Still retianed the good cadillac engine but added EFI and 8-6-4. That was a GOOD engine too, but in 82 it got bad with the HT4100 in the consumer car. It was really pretty horrible up to 85.

This car was a one owner car up until 4 years ago. We bought it from the original owner and replaced fillers. Very typical for even the best examples as this one. Other than that, the car is original, representing the 80 model Fleetwood as good as any example has done since 1981. Best of the best again here.
