1985 Cadillac Eldorado Biarritz

1985 Cadillac Eldorado Biarritz - As New with under 2000 miles. Black/Red Astro Roof Biarritz. Matched as a pair with its 85 Eldorado Biarritz Black/Red Convertible (as new too) This is the single nicest 79-85 Eldorado Coupe I have yet to have cross my path. An I have had some GOOD ones! I am still more of a fan of my 3X white 80 with the big engine, but for one that is a collector first, this car is it hands down. The color and options put this example over the top. It is the peak in a chart where the rare meets desirable. But color and options do not carry a car anywhere... As it should be to anyone in car collecting, its all about condition first over color, options. When something like this comes along... and this just did not come along by accident or easy, then you really get that ultimate match of all categories in a collector car......

In the condition category, this car falls into that small window of cars that simply are as perfect of new original's as the world knows. A car that was put away new as a collector... Not by Joe Blow, but by a GM Dealership owner, therefore it was not in a regular garage, rather a million ++ $ building all of its life.. maintained as such. This car has no arguments.. And it should not... The car is new, museum/collector quality as it sits today. Not so much as ding or impression has found its way over the years in this car (or its twin convertible) As with many cars you have seen in my collection, this one is right up there with the best of the best, and this just may be the finest 79-85 Eldorado Coupe out there... We can only speculate until the next one surfaces though.... Original down to tires, belts, hoses and simply still as crisp as the day it was made. Wheels are date coded 84 vintage rare Appliance real wire wheels for the 79-85 Eldorado. Rare to the level of being unobtainium today. Possibly more rare than the car itself and the best wheel ever made for these cars. If you ask me where another set are, I dont know at all. Seen a few ruined ones, but nothing good. This car and the convertible sit on these wheels with the original 225 70 15 Polysteel radial tires.

I have had this and its twin in captivity for a while, I will show the convertible soon too.... Are they for sale??? Not really wanting to sell, but as with anything in the car collector world, the right offer or trade could make anything possible.... But should they ever be sold, they will only be sold as a pair, and only to the qualified collector that can preserve them forward. This is really best in world stuff here that is a lifetime achievement to own for me or any like collector.

The two color stripe is an optional item and is factory original on this example.... as with everything.

All the chrome trim on tail lamps is perfect as new. Paint is really above and beyond for factory original.

See original fillers.... This did not just happen by chance... To have original fillers on one of these cars, the car had to have been in an AC environment all the time.

What are typical hard and fast aging Biarritz Seats still look like new. These seats did not wear well on the typical used car.... Not much practicality with these other than their looks.

Every belt, hose and item are original. AC compressor is the original and R12... Works like new.

Plate is vintage 85 plate... and yes the 86 sticker is right as that is when it would expire.... On car for looks, car has never been plated.
