1991 Chevrolet 454SS Pickup

1991 Chevrolet 454SS Pickup 5000 Miles, as new as possible. 100% stock, unmodified, orig tires, belts, hoses, everything and yes that means ALL paint too. 1 of the 983 made for 1991. 91 boasts the many desired upgrades that were kept on the 91-93 years vs the more common 13,748 made in the high production first year of 1990. That being said makes this a pretty rare and desirable example given the fact it is collector owned, kept, maintained and only has 5000 miles too. 1991-93 received the first year Mark V big block with many improvements like 1 piece rear main seal, dual exhaust upgrade boasting now 255HP and 405 Torque, the famed 4L80E 4 Speed transmission and for 91, a 4:10 14 bolt Posi rear end. Of course 1991 had the tachometer too.

This example is arguably as nice and as new as one can find in a 91-93 454SS. Nothing has been altered, doctored up, restored or hyper detailed to "bring it up"... It has always been this way. It is a 2 owner, the first a similar large collection. All aspects of the truck work as new including the AC, truck has a second set of wheels with regular BFGs that were used to store it most of its life as these were bagged in the bed to preserve. I put them back on for display and the 1991 date coded Comp TA tires are totally usable but are 33 years old as with the rest of the truck.

A lot can be said for the GMT400 series pickup in all the configurations, many really cool ones, from 2500 4X4 with later year powerful Vortec 454s, strong 3500s and little 350 sport trucks! But of the millions of GMT400s made from 1988-2000, the low production 1990-93 454SS is a standout in the lineup that was never duplicated again past 93. Many people have been inspired by this truck to clone, customize, hot rod and do all sorts of cool stuff with theirs. This is just a boring near new one that has been frozen in time as best as humanly possible, but in collector cars, boring and original is always the highest on the price foodchain.
